The Sar-chasm is a large chasm inside Riley's mind in the 2024 film Inside Out 2.

When Riley was at a party with Val Ortiz and the other Fire Hawks, she was asked what her favorite band was. She answered with her favorite band, Get Up and Glow. Val responded that she loved them in middle school. Anxiety and Envy panicked. They needed a band that the Fire Hawks think is cool, not one they actually like. Envy recalled everything they knew about music, and sent Sadness, who was climbing up the Recall Tube at the time, to Headquarters. Sadness and a bunch of music-related memories were sent to Headquarters, but it was mostly her dad's playlist, and ad jingles. Ennui had enough and controlled the console to make the Fire Hawks think that Riley was being sarcastic. Meanwhile, the ground collapsed beneath Joy, Disgust, Anger, and Fear, who were riding down the Stream of Consciousness to the Back of the Mind, forming a Sar-chasm. Without a clear path, the four emotions were forced to walk the long way.
