The Riley Protection System is a mechanism designed by Joy featured in the film Inside Out 2.
History[]
Joy designed the machine to gather up distressing or embarrassing memories that were weighing down Riley's conscience and send those memories to the Back of the Mind so Riley wouldn't think about them anymore.

The machine seems to be made out of spare parts. It is a purple capsule with a spring that catapults Memories.
