- “Friendship Island is pretty great too.”
- ―Joy
Friendship Island is one of Riley's Islands of Personality.
History[]
Inside Out[]
It was created when Riley Andersen made friends with Meg and ate ice cream. The memory flicks from yellow to blue and back as it is partly sad with Riley dropping the ice cream, and partly happy with them sharing it afterwards. Joy describes it as being "pretty good."
When Joy, Sadness, and the Core Memories were taken out of Headquarters, Friendship Island powered off and was the second of the islands to collapse when Riley heard Meg made a new best friend and Anger made her angry and jealous over supposedly losing her. When it was revamped at the end, it adding a Friendly Argument Section, which Anger liked.
Inside Out 2[]
By the time of Inside Out 2, Friendship Island had grown significantly as Riley's friendships became a more central part of her life.
