After Riley, Bree, and Grace finished their last middle school hockey game, Coach Roberts approached them and invited them to join her summer skills camp. They all decided to go.
On the first day of camp, Riley got on Coach Roberts' bad side by goofing off with Bree and Grace when she called for everyone to settle down. As a result, all the players had to skate lines. As they skated, Roberts told Riley she was lagging behind. Then she divided the group into two teams and watched them as they played a game, making notes on each of the players. Among those notes was her remark that Riley wasn't ready yet for the FireHawks.
On the third and final day of the camp, Roberts held a scrimmage. During this game, Riley played very aggressively, stealing the puck from her own teammates and knocking over another player, Grace. When this happened, Roberts sent her to the penalty box. Then she went to check on Grace.
