Bloofy is a character in Inside Out 2. He is a character from Bloofy's House, Riley's favorite childhood TV show.

Inside Out 2[]
Bloofy appeared as an anthropomorphic purple dog with darker shades of spots on his body. He wore a blue cap with a rainbow on it, and shoes that reveal a "B" under it, referencing his name. Bloofy also wore a yellow fanny pack, Pouchy, over his waist.
He is the host and protagonist of Bloofy's House: a children's television series that aired presumably sometime in the mid to late 2000s. Little is known about the show, other than the fact that Riley watched it in her youth, and secretly still enjoys it as a teenager.
The emotions encountered Bloofy in the Vault of Secrets, where they were trapped in a jar. He offered to help them get out if they helped him get out of the Vault. He had them call Pouchy, who offered them a tomato, a frog, or dynamite to get out. Anger took the dynamite and used it to blow the Vault door open. Then he tried to get them to sing a song about their victory, but they told him there wasn't time.

Bloofy is cheerful, enthusiastic, silly, fun and optimistic.
Notes and Trivia[]
- His name is similar to those of three other well-known animated dogs - Goofy (Mickey and Friends), Bluey Heeler (Bluey), and Blue (Blue's Clues). Out of these three, Blue and Goofy's designs are closest to Bloofy's.
- Bloofy is the first hand-drawn character made by Pixar.[source?]
- Bloofy could likely be based off of Dora the Explorer with how he asks questions to the audience and wears a talking bag-like accessory. Similar to how Dora frequently talks to the audience and how she wears a talking backpack.[source?]
- The reason why Bloofy is in the Vault of Secrets is because Riley still secretly likes Bloofy's show.
- When Bloofy calls Pouchy (his yellow pouch), he says "Oh, Pouchy!" which could be a reference to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse when they say "Oh, Toodles!" when they need something.[source?]
- It is unclear whether or not Bloofy's House is still ongoing at the time of Inside Out 2's events.
