Purple Disgust - Is her page really necessary?

I was wondering what the members of this wiki actually thought of her page being created and added to the "characters" catergory, since she technically appears in the film. I happen to know a lot about her, as well as have as theory on her apperences in-movie. But I wasn't sure if this should be on the Disgust page, Jill Andersen or the teacher's pages, repetitive trivia on all three pages (which I've seen before on other wikis), or its own page. I created the individual page, but what do you think was/is the best option?

I don't think that the page is specifically necessary. I think this is something that could be mentioned in the trivia of these pages. A separate article might be a bit much though. But another side of me thinks that it might even be possible to create separate articles for each individual emotion in everyone elses head. Or pages for all five emotions that aren't the ones in Riley's head, since the latter could not be expanded upon very much. In this case their could be a total of ten emotion pages; five for Riley's emotions, and five to represent everone elses emotions. Another thing that could be done is to make all of the emotion pages represent the emotions in a non unique way i.e. instead of "Disgust is one of the Five Emotions who lives in Riley's head in the Pixar film Inside Out." You could have "Disgust is an one of the Five Emotions that controls a person in the Pixar film Inside Out." This would make sense in a way since the emotions all basically function the same way, but it would also take away from the uniqueness of the characters that the story focuses on. So the page might be able to stay. It's hard to say. But I can't do anything to delete any specific pages or put in place any specific measure since I'm not an admin and this wiki seems to be abandoned by the higher-ups.

You know what? I agree with you. I think the ten pages idea would be best, so that we can keep the general emotion everyone has separate from the main character, and still keep the information we have on everyone else's emotions. The group pages for people's emotions  and the actual people's pages could have their information merged, and have the group pages at least marked for deletion. This way we won't have so much constant repeating, and it would be more clear where to add trivia (something about all of Mrs. Andersen's emotions, for example, would go on her page, and information only about her Disgust could go on the general Disgust page), which would help solve the problem; Purple Disgust information could go on the not-Riley Disgust page.

Also, I heard about something about "adopting" wikias; it's something about becoming an admin on a wiki that meets certain requirements, one having something to do with the activity level and the admin activity, I think. Don't quote me on this, but if what I heard is true, and the admins really did abandon this wiki, we could have someone active become an admin instead, and we could have this and other problems that invole admin actions taken care of. Personally, I would not want to do this, mainly because I know I won't be able to constantly be taking care of the wiki, but I would if no one else was willing to. I'll see if I can find out more about this.

http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption:Requests

Well, our wikia mostly qualifies for adoption according to the chart on the website above. However, there is one problem -- Homer77 was active on Febuary 6th this year, and according to his page and the list, is an administrator. However, there are conversations here (and also he has told me) that he is NOT an admin, and does not have admin privileges. I am not sure if the people who approve these requests take this sort of things into consideration, or simply check to see if everything meets the requirements and say yes or no. If they do, we could possibly have someone adopt the wikia and we will have an active admin.

The Adoption Request for this wiki already exists here: http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption:Inside_Out_Wikia and it looks like it was created by Homer77 who doesn't seem to be too active now. Checking some message walls it looks like Homer77 was an admin but is not anymore. There's also some weird block log history with Homer77 and some other users.

Anyway it looks like Homer77 tried to adopt this wiki and was prevented because the bureaucrat, which is NikkiSarah, had edited within the past 60 days. The problem with trying to adopt this wiki now is that NikkiSarah edited on January 12, which can be seen here: http://insideout.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:NikkiSarah/@comment-Homer77-20160104231728/@comment-NikkiSarah-20160113024916?diff=next&oldid=5155 This is a pretty minor edit, but it probably still counts. If it doesn't, NikkiSarah has not edited an actual article since October 6th last year.

I recently left a request for adminship on NikkiSarah's wall, but I don't know if she'll ever respond. I might try to adopt this wiki, but if I can't qualify for some reason, I'll just keep trying to clean things up around here until I can.
